If you were wondering if A24s new film X is going to bring the scares, gore, creativity and mature content. You're in luck. X gonna give it to you. I found this to be the most straight-forward A24 film so far with a pretty standard story flow. Director TI West sets up a wonderfully intense backdrop for our amateur stars to play in. The score and filmography work perfectly for the late 70's backdrop and the final act really pays off well. This is another win for me from a studio that isn't afraid to take chances with their movies. Looking forward to the next A24 movie!
